Poderosa is a unique coffee for anyone who believes in the radical notion that the world is no longer a man’s game! Phenomenal women and girls are already making history in today’s hectic times.
By taking the rightful place in typically male-dominated environments, women got to mutually support each other, speak up and truly find space to flourish together. Seeking to help those around to grow into their best selves, hard-working women bring to the forefront their strength and empathy for others to build an equitable future for all of us.

The coffee produced in Sotará has the strength of a volcano. Not only because it is grown near the
Sotará volcano, in the middle of the central mountain range of southwestern Colombia, but
also due to the tireless and meticulous work of dozens of women who have found not only their livelihood in coffee, but also their core passion.
We're firm believers that change starts right here, on the ground and in our heads. And guess what? You're part of this wild ride! As we dive into the fascinating world of coffee, fueled by real stories, we're making memories that'll stick with us forever.

MANIFESTO
For each member of Asmualpas, coffee is not only their daily sustenance, but a gathering point for all of them, and a life project that is built seed by seed, grain by grain.
Unity
Around 25 women of different ages have found their life project in coffee, and since they can remember, they have closely witnessed each of the steps necessary to create a coffee with a strong aroma, high acidity, as well as chocolate, fruit, and citrus notes.
Persistence
The unmistakable aroma and flavor of Poderosa Coffee would not be possible without the persistent efforts of these women from the Colombian southwest who work every day with the strength of a volcano in order for their coffee to be recognized worldwide.

We use renewable energy and minimize the coffee production wastewater to contribute to biodiversity conservation in the region.
Our meticulous and purely handmade system, from planting to packing, works without agrochemicals and focuses on climate resilience practices.
